Featured Projects and Folio page – images don't show, only text

On my homepage the Featured Projects images aren’t displaying, if you hover over the page space you can see the text of the project but the image doesn’t show up.

Also, on my Folio page again you can see the text and no image. It seems to have the text displaying up high in the heading of the page too.

You need to set a featured image for your portfolio posts. Looks like you set the gallery correctly but you still have to set a featured image. Can be one thats in the gallery.

I’ve also noticed there is an extra heading appearing on my about page…

You are using the feature page template. Use the sidebar one. The feature is for pages that you want to have an image, video or slider in header.

I am just beginning to add content to my site and I want to have a row (or gallery of several rows) of portfolio items under my homepage slider image. I don’t think I want my latest blog post – just portfolio items. However my portfolio featured images seem to appear and disappear from the home page? I have checked to make sure that the images are “attached” to their respective portfolio posts
can you please have a look and let me know if there is anything I can do.

I just discovered the problem and fixed it – I had an “empty” portfolio item that I had started and not finished. Since it had no pictures attached it was showing up as a blank space on the portfolio carousel on my homepage.

Is there any way to display a portfolio grid instead of a carousel on the homepage?
