Featured posts in content area on home page?

Hey

Some themes have a home page template where one can place 3 or more images with info about a post above or below it. As featured posts blocks.

Can we do something like this with your plugin? What about easy CSS styling through the plugin?

Featured posts seems kinda standard. I did a quick search to show a typical way of showing posts as featured content and came across this: http://simplewpthemes.com/demo/theme/?wptheme=GamelisoMagazine

The above theme also shows varies ways featured posts can be shown.
