Featured Post widget displays full post

    Hi
    I have added the Featured Posts widget to my side menu. On the Home page it truncates the post and displays a ‘Read More’ button however when I view a page within my Menu the Featured Post widget displays the whole blog post which makes the page very long.
    Is there a way to shorten the post when viewing Pages?
