Hello NadyaQL,
Could I ask you reactivate the plugin and provide a link to the site so that I can take a look to see what I can figure out to help you resolve the problem?
Zulf
Hi Zulf , thanks for the answer, i cant provide a link because is on localhost,
🙁
tell me if i can provide any information that may help to fix this,
and thanks for your time to answer me, and for the great plug-in 🙂
OK, I’m going to have to ask you to do a couple things for me.
Could you a) right click on the site front end and view source then copy the source in to notepad then save it as nadyaql.html.
b) take a couple of screenshots of (1) without the plugin active and (2) with the plugin active.
Put them all in a folder, zip them up and open a thread here: http://wpdefault.com/forums/forum/fourteen-extended/ and attach the zip file – I’ll take a look and come back to you with feedback.
hi, thanks for your message,
i try to register at your website for open a thread but i get this:
REGISTER
[theme-my-login]
thanks for keep in touch 😉
Zulf,
This issue is quite similar to my issue – shall I try and do the same as per your instructions for nadyaQL
My issues is currently under ‘resolved’ status.
@shamrockoz – yes please do that.
@nadyaql – Could you check on the Jetpack settings and see if the Photon module is active? If it is please deactivate it and test again to see if that resolves the issue.
hi Zulf, i check and no photon is activate. at the moment i only have activate jetpack custom css, Extra Sidebar Widgets, Sharing.
i have this active before, it was when change to new version Version 1.2.31 of Fourteen Extended plugin when images disappear, my guessing is that it have to be with some of the new features but i dont really know. 🙁
i saw your message to at the website.
thanks you for all the support
Nad
ok, finally after all this days i found that if i uncheck Disable the plugin css output for debugging? i get my images back, but if i check it , featured images not show.
whohooo!
@nadyaql – thank you for reporting back and good catch
The “Disable the plugin css output for debugging?” option virtually shuts off the plugin output. The reasoning for this option is to allow for debugging without deactivating the plugin altogether which may result in some options being reset/lost.
Marking thread as resolved but please feel free to comment back if the issue persists and I’ll reopen it.
Regards,
Zulf
by “Disable the plugin css output for debugging” i shut off …
so i better erase the plug in since i do like the options but i cant get my images to display.
if you can indicate to me how i can set up by hand the theme to do random posts in home grid and the mobile version be a slider, will be nice. since i cant have the plugin without images 🙁
still dont understand why my images get lost. everytime i deactivate the plugin images appear. i dont know if u had the chance to check the source code i sent you before, maybe it give me a clue of whats going on.
thanks you very much,
nad.
