   Hello. I know that there have been several issues with the featured images not working as headers in themes. I have looked over all of these support threads several times to find the answer to my problem, and have yet to figure it out.

   Currently, I am trying to use the theme Zylyz from Fabthemes.com - It is working out fine except for the slider header. I have tried resizing it to several different ratios, as well as several different images, and none of them work. I have the options set to using posts and in the correct category, but the image still will not show up. I should also mention that I've tried switching to other custom themes and I get the same problem. I haven't tried on default WP themes, though.

   When I go to your site, click on view source, I see this

   When I click on that link I see the following error: <h1>A TimThumb error has occured</h1>The following error(s) occured:<br /><ul><li>Could not open the lockfile for writing an image.</li></ul><br /><br />Query String : src=http://bgosch.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/slider1.gif&h=300&w=828&zc=1<br />TimThumb version : 2.8</pre>

   Looks like there's a problem with the theme. I don't know why theme designer use timthumb... I would contact them and ask them what to do.
