Featured Image Panel not working | WordPress.org

Help please! I can’t set any thumbnails because the featured image panel does not appear on the admin page. Im installing this plugin into the U-Design theme. Ive tried installing it on different themes and it works fine so there must be something in the theme that is causing a problem. Any ideas?

This was driving me mad as I use the u-design theme and wanted to get this working.

What you need to do is go to editor and edit the functions.php file. Just scroll to the bottom and add “add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ );” as a line.

Should work.
