try saving it as a .png and upload again? also, make sure of spelling and case – mypic.PNG is not the same as MyPic.PNG – or so I found to my own frustration. Also, WP seems not to like .TIF.
png / jpg / gif / bmp seem to work

The image is correct. I added it to a post and a page using the WordPress dashboard. It shows up in the editor when I insert it.
If I switch to other themes then the featured images always show up.
When I browse to the page and view the source in the browser then there is no link to the image.
It does look like a theme bug – is there anything else that I can try?
