Weirdness. I just noticed that after upgrading to 3.4.1 from 3.4, I no longer have the ability to select a featured image for my posts. It's not in the right-hand side of the Add New Post page, and it's not available from the Media window that pops up when I add an image to a post. Any insights would be appreciated. I did create a back-up before upgrading, but I'm hoping there's a better quick-fix.

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.
