Featured image double displayed on iPhone

    Hej Guys,

    i have a weird problem concerning the display of a featured image on an iPhone.
    If a featured image is set, my theme shows this featured image at the top of an article.
    For the article-list on the homepage it is the same.

    BUT if the page is viewed on an iPhone (ONLY on iPhone), the featured image is shown AND a double featured image occurs below and right of the featured image.

    My theme also supports to display a youtube-video instead of the featured image. If i use this feature to show a video, everything is displayed right. But as soon as i use the video feature AND set a featured image, this featured image is shown below and right of the video-frame.

    !! The problem occurs ONLY on iPhone – not on iPad, IE, Firefox etc.
    !! The probelm occurs ONLY in the article-list! It does not occur in the single post view on an iPhone! So if you open a post, everything is displayed correctly.

    I am using WordPress 3.5.1 and the adapted theme „Gretchen“ (http://themeforest.net/item/gretchen-flexible-wordpress-theme/2564485)

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all other plugins deactivated?

    And why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

    Hi Esmi, i could replicate the problem using the default theme. The problem was solved by deactivating the plugin “jetpack mobile featured image”. Thanks a lot!
