I have the most updated version of WordPress Installed. The "Featured Image" option has worked all along, and then, all the sudden it stopped working. The option to upload a file is no longer working. The box that normally pops-up never shows for me to select which file to upload. What is wrong and how can I easily fix it ASAP?

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

esmi, you're a genius! I tried resetting the plugins folder, but that did nothing. Then, I deactivated a plugin that was not even being used and needed to be updated anyway, and it all now works perfectly fine!
Thank you so much! For those who may need this info later on, the plugin that was making the "set featured image" feature of WordPress not work was WP Super Popup.
