Featured Image

    Click the Screen Options tab at the top right of the screen and make sure that Featured Image (and any other options you want to have available) is ticked.

    it does not appear up there either, i tried that… thanks.

    Did you activate Twenty Eleven at the same time that you deactivated all the plugins? Or did you do switch them separately?

    Other plugins/themes are really the only thing I can think of that would remove the metabox.
