    Wonderful plugin!

    It could be really helpful for some people to be able to turn off all CSS output (a-la Gravity Forms). It wasn't too hard to find the stylesheet handle to dequeue, but a press of a button would've been easier! :)

    Hi Mannie,

    thanks for your post!

    While I agree that there should be an option to turn off the CSS, I don't think that this should be done with another checkbox. That vast majority of users will not need this, so that such a checkbox would just clutter the interface and make TablePress harder to use for inexperienced users.
    Instead, there's a method that uses a filter hook that's very easy: It's enough to add

    add_filter( 'tablepress_use_default_css', '__return_false' );

    to the "functions.php" file of the theme.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    You're totally right, my apologies for wasting your time.

    Also, I'm not sure how I overlooked that filter. Thanks!

    Hi,

    no problem! It's easy to miss and questioning design decisions is a good thing! It makes us think about potential better solutions!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
