I like your plugin Roger but there are a couple of features I would love to see added. In it's present form it won't quite work for what I have in mind.

    1. Character limit and "read more" for the widget. The changing length of the widget really messes with the layout of the home page.
    2. Apply Randomize testimonials to widget only
    3. Be able to select the order testimonials appear in the listing. Especially most recent first
    4. Have a date added field
    5. Max number of testimonials apply to pagination instead of a limit
    6. Have the form in the admin section clear after adding a testimony

Just my 2 cents worth. Keep up the good work!

    Roger,

Thanks for a great plugin. Here are a couple of feature requests that I hope you can add to a future release:

    • Wrap the key elements of the testimonial (Testimonial Text, Name, Location, etc.) in unique paragraph tags to enable css styling.
    • Allow users to choose the leading character before the name. Either allow them to select from tilde, dash, emdash, or none.
    • And as mentioned previously, clear the form after submitting a testimonial.

    Thanks

A CAPTCHA might be good as well, spam wise. I know the admins have the power to approve or disapprove submitted testimonials but having a CAPTCHA wouldn't hurt either.

Until you can add a captcha feature, could you add a field that requires the submitter to input pre-defined text? For instance:

Required Field Name: "Please type "Hello" here":

The individual then types in "Hello" and the plugin verifies it exists before it can be submit.

Is this something you can add until Captcha can be integrated?
