Feature request: time allowed to edit a post/ preview post button? (1 post)

    For example:
I just spotted a mistake in a piece of code that I wrote, but the time had already expired. Now I have to add a new post in order to correct.
Now, of course, there can something said for that. As you don't know how many people read that code in the mean time

The current timing out of a post edit is set to something like 40 minutes. Is there any way to extend this time? Is this wise?

Sometimes after I post I still notice a mistake or two. I find it can sometimes be tricky when writing a post combined with code to get everything looking alright. Would a preview post button be handy? So that one is able to preview what the post will look like before hitting post? It might in some cases help reduce the number of edits needed, and just generally allow you to preview and layout the post before publishing.
