Feature Request: Tasks

I’d like to see you add the ability to add tasks to this plugin.
I’ve added Task as a custom metadata field but the issue with that is you can only add one task and it can’t be checked as completed.
Ideally, you’d be able to add tasks, have the ability to check them as completed, have them display as a sortable field on the calendar, and possibly have a dashboard widget so a user can see his/her assigned tasks when then login into WordPress.
