PuNKThere should be subscribe to updates option on each plugin page
sometimes due to manual customizations and sometimes due to other reasons on client sites many admins disable Plugin Auto Update Notification feature.
In such cases its very hard to visit each plugin page & check if updated version is available If subscribe option is present Admins can get updates by mail & notified when new version of any plugin is released. Then after visiting plugin page & gong through changelog If there is any important update they can manually update the plugin.
