Feature request: Post expiration date (3 posts)

I use posts for news on a "regular" (as opposed to blog) site. It would be so lovely to have, in addition to the date that the post becomes published, an expiration date so the post could go to "expired" or just "draft." Please, please!! Love WordPress - now using it exclusively for new sites I am building.

You'll find there are many plugins which handle such behaviour. As a 'fringe' case, I can't see such a feature being added to core.

"auto delete" or "auto prune" can handle that sitewise...

if you need to set it per post you can give it a try with "content scheduler", but there are more of them quite good...

    Cheers!
