[resolved] Feature request: I'd like to jump straight to "Posts" (8 posts)

Most of the work I do in WordPress is editing (cleaning up, improving, changing the date of) my Posts. To get there, I have to click on "Dashboard", then click on "Posts". Every time. Can I please just click on "Posts"?

At the moment, on the top left of my site, I can choose from
    Dashboard / Themes / Customise / Widgets / Menus / Background / Header

Only "Header" is of any interest to me. I would like to see a link to "Posts" added there, in that drop-down list. Please. Instead of "Themes", say. I mean, I only change "Themes" once every three years. I go to "Posts" every day.
    Thanks

  2. Is this still a problem with the advent of the flyout menus?

I hover over posts, and then just click All Posts.

Sounds great -- that's what I would like to be able to do -- but how does one "hover over posts"?

    Thanks,

    JT

Wait -- you're right! It's "Edit Posts", above the post you're viewing, when you're viewing a post. I had never noticed that. Thanks!

    JT.

  5. It's there all the time on the back end :) Left side flyouts.

Though it'd be nice to have on the toolbar too, come to think on it. Maybe I'll nag the guys to add it to snack bar.

Thanks, Mika. As a site admin, I would find it very handy to be able to click on "All Posts" from the Front Page of the site: That way I could see the future posts and their due date and quickly edit them, swap them around, change their due date, change their category, and so on.

    Thanks,

    JT

Thanks, Ipstenu. I've installed Custom Adminbar Menus, and so far it seems to be just the ticket.

    Many thanks,

    John Tranter
