Please, distinguish in Settings / Languages / Languages, in the count between posts and pages.

sorry, I didnt notice the admin bar. it has the same functionality.

Posts count is calculated by WordPress and not by Polylang. And WordPress includes all post types (not only posts and pages but also custom post types).
