I had tried using the “Disable Auto-Lightbox” option, but noticed it still causes the client to download the lightbox/colorbox javascript on pages that have no images with a lightbox tag. The main reason for my request is to eliminate the need for the client to download javascript on a page where it will not be used. Only a few of my pages take advantage of Lightbox Plus, but all pages currently cause the client to download the lightbox/colorbox javascript.
Thanks so much for this great free plugin. I examined quite a large number of Lightbox type plugins for WordPress, and feel this one is the best for my needs.
I agree, this feature is strongly needed. I’ve read the instructions in the Lightbox Plus settings about checking “do not auto-lightbox images” and then manually adding code to the URL of the photos that I WANT to use Lightbox, but I don’t understand how to actually add that code.
I also think this is a must have feature to disable plugin on custom pages.
