   There were version 1.5 plugins that allowed for easy Creative Commons meta embedding, but alas, no more. Perhaps a license chooser per article or just the whole blog. MediaWiki has this feature on install.

   Turns out there is a plugin for 2.0, wpLicense. Embedding would be nice though
