Hi, you can add slideshow captions using a custom slideshow template, try using the Caption Skin in your theme.

Is it possible to copy the files to plugin directory instead of the theme directory?

You don’t really want to do that, because you’d overwrite the files in the plugin, and then when the plugin was updated next, it would overwrite the custom skin and you’d lose the captions.

If you do it in the theme, those changes will stick.

I want to use the plugin in a multisite so it’s not very desirable to have to manually add the files to all of themes. But that way it worked. Thank You for the great plugin.

And please mind changing the icon for the plugin.

Ah, yeah I can see how that would be a hassle!

I’m planning to add some hooks in the next version, so you would be able to use an addon plugin to add captions to all the slideshows. For the time being you could make these changes right in the plugin’s slideshow template, just make sure you change the plugin’s version number to like “9999” so you don’t accidentally update the plugin until you are ready to switch how the captions work.

In the next version of Meteor Slides I’ll have a new icon that matches the rest of the admin icons.

    OK, Thank you very much.
