I'm having some problems with permalinks and I feel I may have tracked down the issue.
I tried moving my site out of the /var/www/wordpress directory and into it's own directory.
I now have a symlink from /var/www/wordpress -> /home/users/website/wordpress
However my feature images are not showing up.
I checked the source and they are looking from them at
/var/www/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/et_temp/myimage.png
So I checked to make sure those files were they and doubled checked the path. However, after tweaking my url some I was able to find them by going to
http://mysite.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/et_temp/myimage.png
In my wordpress general tab I have the wordpress address set to http://mysite.com/wordpress
and the site url is http://mysite.com/
I feel I'm on the right track, but I'm missing something.
Any help please??
