Feature Image not showing up

    I am trying to have a feature image appear with my post and it’s not showing up once I publish the post. I have the picture selected under the “Featured Image” box while in the edit post section.

    Hi there,

    What WP version you’re using and what theme? Have you changed something lately on your installation(WP, theme, plugins updates or customization)? Have you changed hosting settings? Any insight in your sistuation?

    Have you looked over the other discussions (1, 2, 3) to see if your case might fit?

    Sometimes is just as simple as adding this to your theme’s functions.php: add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails' ); but it can be something else.

    Ah thanks for your help!

    I am super new to WordPress but this seems like it should be an easy fix once I figure it out. I’m using the Runway theme and I’m on version 3.8.1.

    I tried deactivating the plugins, as many people suggested, but that resulted in no change.

    Where would I add something to my function? (Super new to this haha)
