    Hello,

I need an urgent help, if possible. I installed a plug in called “feature a page widget” and it didn’t work. I deactivated it and even deleted it but now I cannot use the Widgets from the Dashboard anymore,

    I receive the following message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::add_help_tab() in /home/punctuld/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feature-a-page-widget/feature-a-page-widget.php on line 108

The plug in is deleted and this message is still there.

Please give me an advice how can I solve this. I have a beginner level therefore please be very explicit.

Thank you very much in advance !

What version of WordPress are you using? That error may be because that function (add_help_tab()) requires a newer version of WordPress.

I missed the fact that you provided the WordPress version with your post. Sorry.

I think not running WordPress 3.3+ is almost definitely the cause of your problems. In general, it’s best to upgrade for security, performance improvements, and the new features as well.
