Hi forum,
I recently changed my favicon and am experiencing the following issues:
1) In Firefox, the new favicon shows in the address line and in the tab. But if I put the site in my favorites toolbar, the old favicon appears there. If I bookmark the page, the old favicon shows in the dropdown as well. (I've cleared cache, closed browser, deleted .ico file, re-added it to no avail.)
2) In Safari, the old favicon continues to show despite 2 days having passed and also clearing cache, etc.
Other info:
- My favicon.ico file sits only in my root folder.
- If I use a different computer that's never visited this site, I do not encounter this problem.
