Favicon only PNG

    I’m not able to upload a favicon in .ico-format. .png files are fine, but I’m a little bit scared, because I think Big G (Google) would like to see .ico-icons instead of .pngs.

    i just manually ftp-ed my .ico file to the wp root and it shows up fine in the browsers, even though the theme doesn’t “know” it’s there.
