    Hi there. I've been trying to apply my own favicon to my website, but to no avail. i tried doing it manually and then tried using Admin Favicon (John Kolbert). The former technique failed, and the latter was successful, only on the wp admin page. When i go to my website (http://muhammadhafiz.com), it doesnt display the favicon. This makes me wonder if it's a problem with the theme?

    Did anyone manage to use a favicon with this theme?

    Your:
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico">

    is at the top before the <Head> tag so it won't work there.
    You have it in the wrong place in your code. Maybe the header.php?
    Don't know that theme but you need to move it.

    Have never used a plugin for that. Always just added the code manually to header.php
