Favicon Animation Won't Run

    So i just downloaded 4.2.1 and my favicon is working on both ends, but when I try to use a .gif the animation doesn’t seem to be working. When I go to the All in one Favicon Settings, the animation is shown next to where I uploaded it in both the frontend and backend settings, but only a still image is shown up in the tab.

    suggestions?

    Hi,

    which browser do you use?
    Not every browser can display animated gif favicons:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon

    Also, Chrome and Safari seem to display a static favicon if it’s configured despite the fact that an animated gif is also configured. Firefox will always display the animated version (at least that’s true for my site)
