    Hello,
I installed Easy Digital Download into our website, and for some reason, now we are not able to login into our WP account. I went in through the server through FTP and deleted the Easy Digital Download folder, but that gave a different error message saying something about files not being found. So I downloaded the EDD folder again into my computer, and uploaded it through FTP back into our server. But we are still getting an error message (i think the original one that we got in the beginning)
    Here is the error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function __return_null() in /home/content/68/8999368/html/wp-content/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/includes/admin/settings/register-settings.php on line 78

What should we do so we can get back into our WP account for this website?

Your version of WordPress is too old. We require at least WordPress 3.4. Please update to the latest then try again.

The faulty plug in is preventing me from logging in to Word Press so I cant update the WP. I can log in through FTP and make changes directly in the files. Can you tell me what files or code to remove so it takes out the plug in?

Log into FTP and go to wp-content/plugins and rename the “easy-digital-downloads” folder to “easy-digital-downloads-2”. Once you do that, you will be able to load your admin.

    thanks for the quick response
but I had already removed the whole Easy Digital folder
But it is still giving me this error message

Fatal error: Call to undefined function __return_null() in /home/content/68/8999368/html/wp-content/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/includes/admin/settings/register-settings.php on line 78

There must be a change that was made a different file somewhere, that is trying to call it up? How do I change that file(s) back?

If that message is still showing up, you didn’t delete the files. The only way for that message to show up still is if the files are still there.

Do you have multiple WordPress installs on the same server?
