Was having some incompatibility issues with a feature on my site not working properly (I use a Pagelines theme). To try to rectify the situation, I started deactivating AND deleting extraneous plug-ins a few moments ago, probably deleting some I shouldn't have. I was advised to deactivate them all by Pagelines support to see if that was the issue.

Anyway, after deleting the wp-cache plugin (I believe that's what it was called), I lost access to the entire back and front ends of my site. The url for both the log-in/admin page AND .com front end now lead to blank screens.

I'm either using WP version 3.1.4 or 3.2... can't upgrade because Yahoo's my host.

    Please help!!!

Which cache plugin were you using? Have you checked the plugin's documentation? Caching plugins normally require some extra steps to be taken before they are deactivated.

I believe it was just the regular "wp-cache" plug. It deactivated and deleted just like all the others, no prompts instructing extra steps or anything. In addition to that and Akismet, there were a lot of random Yahoo plug-ins that appeared on their own that I also deleted.
