   Greetings
   I’ve been testing 1.5 on a separate server while I test and tweak everything and it was allgoing fine. I put an install on my live server and I’ve run into trouble…

   “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: the_author() in /home/daviking/public_html/blog/wp-admin/edit.php on line 199�

   Basicly, whenever I run into a link identifying the author on the site, be it on the index or a edit page, everything comes to a screeching halt. Any ideas?

   Make sure you have the file:

   wp-includes/template-functions-author.php

   And if you do, try replacing it with a fresh copy:

   http://trac.wordpress.org/file/trunk/wp-includes/template-functions-author.php?rev=2241&format=raw
