Hi
I built a site a couple of years ago, annd it is being administered by the site owner now, who is not very computer savy.
Today, he upgraded the site to the latest version and now gets the following message
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/w02poet/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14
I do not know what to do. I also do not know how to get into the backend as the login was on the home page.
Please can someone help. Needless to say, the files had not been backed up!
Try:
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes and adding "-old" to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
- re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.
- re-running the upgrade via wp-admin/upgrade.php

I used
blue-zinfandel-enhanced-20
Do you mean I now call that blue-zinfandel-enhanced-20-old. switch to a new theme and see where I am then?

How do I switch themes if I do not have access to the back end of my site?
Many thanks

From esmi . . .
by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes and adding "-old" to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
