    Hi,

I have wordpress installed on my local machine. When I tried to view footer.php in Live Code, in order to change the colour etc., I got the following error. I had problems previously with the Media Library and it turned out to be a faulty plugin. I downloaded and installed the Hotfix plugin and it fixed that problem but not the one I have now.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_sidebar() in C:\wamp\www\killersites\wordpress\wp-content\themes\killersites\footer.php on line <i>22

I have errors while trying to view the other .php files too. As I don't know anything about php I need to be able to view the source code to make changes to the CSS.

    Can you help please.

    Regards Margaret

The css is all in style.css etc. There is no css in the php files and you should not nmake any changes to wp core files. Otherwise, when you upgrade all changes will be lost.

Dreamweaver will open php files directly.

[Edit] I thought about that and I understand what you are trying to do and see in DW. Rename your current theme. That will force wp to open with the twentyten theme. This is to check for a theme error.
