• I am receiving the following error on our news site: http://mtnweekly.com

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_authorplus_meta_data() in /home/content/83/6009383/html/wp-content/themes/magazine-premium/index.php on line 31

This was a plugin that we were unable to work with our site. The plugin stayed turned off until we decided to delete the files today, and now have the above error message. I have contacted the Plugin developer as well.

Go Daddy thinks the plugin was sharing a bit of script with WordPress?

  • But it looks like the call is coming from the theme. I would look at the index.php and remove the bit of code that calls that function.

You might also want to ask the theme developer – http://themes.bavotasan.com/2010/magazine-premium/
since you’ve paid for that theme.

    Thanks Christine,

I really appreciate the prompt reply!! I was able to activate the plugin and get the error message to go away.

It’s a fix but not a solution. I will contact the theme developer as well.
