fatal error message after upgrade to 3.0

    I was in step #10 Update Permalinks and .htaccess in the Codex to upgrade to worpress 3.0 and have no idea why this message popped up.

    Fatal error: Call to a member function add_rewrite_tag() on a non-object in /home/content/90/5307390/html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 289

    I was just inside the admin panel under Permalinks and left the settings as they were… and then the error started popping up. any ideas or help??? My site is down!

    Reset your plugins and upgrade the Podcasting Plugin by TSG to 2.3.10 before reactivating it.

    I haven’t found a solution yet. My site is in maintenance mode… I actually don’t have the Podcasting Plugin in my site. The problem is the WP Shopping Cart plugin. After resetting all my plugins, I activated them one by one and that’s the one that makes the fatal error appear.

    Any ideas? I’m also in the forums for wp shopping cart plugin but still haven’t got much help over there. thanks.
