   Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/html/Blog/wp-settings.php on line 255

   And this is what line 255 says:

   $prefix = $wpdb->set_prefix($table_prefix);

   I followed the directions exactly! I knew I should have not upgraded from 2.3. I'm so frustrated I could chew nails.

   The irony of this. I installed 2.7.1 in another directory and it worked perfectly.

   Please try to disable all unwanted plugins from your blog which should resolve the issue.
