I upgraded my blog after not using it for 2 years. I installed a new theme, went to activate it and now I am getting this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: add_theme_support() in /homepages/39/d221672813/htdocs/blog/wp-content/themes/f8-static/images.php on line 34
Now I can't even access my admin console.
How do I fix this???
That sounds like you are trying to use a WordPress 2.9+ theme on a WordPress 2.8 (or lower) site. Try switching to the default theme by renaming wp-content/themes/f8-static to wp-content/themes/f8-static-old using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

i deleted the theme from the folder. I'm no longer able to login to wp-admin
Do you have a default theme in wp-content/themes?
