Help! This is my first wordpress site & I made a mistake. I had the site posted to a subdomain. When finished with the site wanted to transfer it to the root folder (main domain). I moved the files over to the root folder and deleted the files on the subdomain. I then realized this was a big mistake, unable to access the /wp-admin or the site correctly. I then moved the files back to the subdomain hoping to restore the site so I could move it properly. Now on the subdomain I get this error

    http://www.sbad.showbizacademyofdance.com

Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 56 in D:\home\showbizacademyofdance.com\subdomains\sbad\wp-load.php on line 56

Fatal error: fatal flex scanner internal error–end of buffer missed in D:\home\showbizacademyofdance.com\subdomains\sbad\wp-load.php on line 56

Still can’t log into wp/admin. Is there any hope of saving the site? I don’t want to start from scratch if I don’t have to.
    Thanks!

This is what reads in line 56….
wp_die(sprintf(/*WP_I18N_NO_CONFIG*/”<p>There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started.</p> <p>Need more help? We got it.</p> <p>You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn’t work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file.</p><p>Create a Configuration File</p>”/*/WP_I

    I do have a wp-config.php file though

Yes I wanted to transfer it to the root folder. I just tried the option for “Using a pre-existing subdirectory install” and a different error came up so i changed it back.

I didn’t transfer the hidden files.
