As soon as I indtalled my facebook plugin, I received this fatal error message.

I cannot access my dashboard and my site crashed.

I have deleted the facebook plugin, using f t p. However, I do want to install this facebook plugin. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you post the entire error? The line number doesn't give much to go on.

It's hard to help you unless you post the entire error. However, this was probably fixed with the latest update (v1.0.2), so try updating and see if it works now. I'm going to mark this thread as resolved in the meantime, but if you continue to experience issues, just reopen the thread and let us know.

    I'm using WordPress 3.4.2

Here is something similar... I cannot login at all...I did some updates in WordPress, and of them was regarding Facebook. The Error appeared. I tried to Login the Fatal Error appeared every time!

I wish there is a way to reverse or delete the Facebook plugin altogether!

Below is the Error message I received:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_settings_error() in /home/plus/public_html/wp-content/plugins/facebook/admin/settings-app.php on line 298
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

    Please advise! Thank you!

  5. @afroditi Could you please start your own topic instead of bumping an old resolved thread? I deleted that other post where you just posted "." please don't do that either.
