   Hi, newbie. Hello, all.

   After ftping v2.8.4 files onto my site, I get this error when running install.php :

   Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _http_build_query() (previously declared in /homepages/20/d122401603/htdocs/anthonyberrow.com/blog/wp-includes/compat.php:18) in /homepages/20/d122401603/htdocs/anthonyberrow.com/blog/wp-includes/compat.php on line 117

   I ensured that wp-config.php was retained when I ftped the files onto the server.

   Any ideas?

   What version of PHP are you running?

   4.4.9

   I can't upgrade : this is the version my hosting company provides.

   Sorted.

   Deleted and replaced all application files.

   Cheers all.
