Fatal error: Call to undefined function: the_quicktags

    I have just been handed administrative duties of a blog/website using wordpress. I am the first to admit I have no idea what I’m doing. Here’s what’s happening…we want to try to setup a new event, and I am getting this error – “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: the_quicktags() in /home/pathwaya/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/EventManager/new-event.php on line 48”

    The quicktags function was removed from WordPress quite some time ago. I suspect that your “EventManager” plugin is out of date and not compatible with WordPress 2.3.

    You will probably want to look for an update to it, or for an alternative plugin.
