This error message is showing up under my first post and then will not show any posts following.
Can anyone help me get rid of it, please?

For the moment either look for the function call for simple_twitter_link in index.php and delete it / comment it out or - since odds are that it's a plugin - temporarily disable the relevant plugin (something that gives a link to twitter at the bottom of each post, presumably).
It might also be that the function simple_twitter_link is in functions.php and perhaps a line or two of it has been accidentally messed around with by someone.
See if that works first.
