I have been intermintently getting this error since I have been running wordpress 2.3. I have tried all of the documented fixes, to no avail. I am hosted with Media Temple.

This is my most common error.

'Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 46080 bytes) in /mnt/gs02/herd02/26608/domains/uncladchef.com/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 534'

I have put this into my .htaccess file
    php_value memory_limit 32M

This made a few of these errors go away.
I often get errors with wp-upgrade.php also

Is anyone else still having this problem?

I get the error any time I try to enter the plugins area...but thats it. Unfortunately I think its a plugin thats causing it-but I cant get in to disable any of them!

Have there been any fixes or information???

    Thanks...

"I get the error any time I try to enter the plugins...."

You can delete the plugins via FTP or file manager. This won't cause any aditional problems, the installation will just cary on asif you never installed them. It actualy says this at the bottom of the plugin page ;-)

My problem is that when I upload new plugins they don't show - odd. It's not permissions, think something is broken?
