[resolved] Fatal error after upgrade to 2.2.12 (9 posts)

    Hello!
    After upgrade from 2.2.9 to 2.2.12 my website shows:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_is_mobile() (previously declared in %WPDIR%/wp-content/plugins/my-calendar/my-calendar-core.php:1389) in %WPDIR%/wp-includes/vars.php on line 127
    Went back to 2.2.9

    Yes, I'm aware of this issue. It occurs when running my calendar in a network-activated context in multisite. For now, either downgrading to 2.2.9, as you did, or only activating My Calendar in each individual site is the answer, but I will get this fixed soon.

    Same thing happened to my website. Not knowing how to get access again to my site, I removed the whole my-calendar folder from wp-content/plugins and everything seems ok, except I would like to have my-calendar again but I can only find download for 2.2.12. Where can I get 2.2.9?

    Thanks, Joe. Finally, however, I'll try and get along with 2.2.12 on one site only, as you recommended.

    You can have it in multiple sites, it just has to be activated in each one separately, rather than globally for the network. I have a probable fix, just need to do some testing.

    Hi there, just fell over a general update of my multisite installation. Updating to 2.2.12 led to a site crash. I had to do the step back to 2.2.9 again by uploading the old plugin version via ftp (no dashboard availabe after the update). This might happen again updating WP ;-)
    So, is it possible to change the plugin from a global installation to single site without losing the data in the calendar? Please advise how to get there.

    Hi just to answer *my* question (see above), 'cause that was really simple. Deactivated the plugin in the network, then went to the sites using the plugin and re-activated it there. Then the update to 2.2.12. worked without problems. Thanks anyway to Joe - MyCalendar is great and I don't want to miss it.
