you need to manually upload all the 2.8.1 files. Use your ftp client — paying close attention to making sure that the old files are either deleted first (see the upgrading wp pages in the codex for explantions of what to delete and what not to delete).
Pay particular attention to wp-includes/pomo AND the new wp-settings.php
Well that the exact thing what i did.I deleted the old files execpt of the config.php and the wpcontent folder like i always do on an update.
My blog is working fine but i dont have any acces to the admin panel always getting this error.
ok, so you do it again. youre one of a thousand people a week that come through here, and end up having to do things more than once.
Practice makes perfect.
I did it again with another FTP Program and everything is working now.
I also needed to change my Adblock Filters to get the Adminpanel working.
