I disabled, and then tried to re-enable the plugin and got the following error: Using $this when not in object context in /MYSITE/wp-content/plugins/countdown-timer/fergcorp_countdownTimer.php on line 1156

4.0.4 broke layout of site and settings page for the plugin showed

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Fergcorp_Countdown_Timer_Event::getTimestamp() in /homepages/16/d87057129/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/countdown-timer/fergcorp_countdownTimer.php on line 1308

    Server is on PHP v5.2.17

Reverting to fergcorp_countdownTimer.php from 3.0.3 works fine on my site.

Thanks for the support and a great plugin Andrew.

Went back to 3.0.3 on all sites using it...
Luckily I didn't update them all yet.

Can you try this Alpha version and let me know if you have any issues with it:

It won't even activate. Get the following:
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /MY SITE/wp-content/plugins/countdown-timer-1569197da9d9fc48f0b464671e020667e04d9157/fergcorp_countdownTimer.php on line 1149

    Good news and bad news:

The good news is: I was able to recreate the error on my site and I believe successfully quash it.

The bad news: The error appears to be finicky. I actually had to use my Bluehost account to validate the error, even though I run the same version of PHP on my local system. No matter what, I could not get the error to appear locally. This ends up being a moot point for now.

Would you mind testing it out to verify it resolves the issue for you? https://github.com/fergbrain/countdown-timer/archive/0d7f8521f47e28807ee4f7680118fc8edcd1aced.zip

So far it looks like that last fix was a winner. Thanks for the effort on this.

If you haven't had a chance, I'd also appreciate it if you could write a short review: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/countdown-timer
