    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to found my new web site and facing difficulties.
I've followed the steps to start my blog, but I'm stuck in this fatal error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4864 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/websitename.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/locale.php on line 108

I'm using Plesk 7.5.4 control panel
    phpMyAdmin 2.6.3-pl1 MySQL 4.1.20

So I was supposed to install the site in 5 minutes however I cannot find a solution for the last 1,5 hours!
I'm only a simple user and have no idea about php codes.

If there is someone who can help me, with a simple explanation, I'd very glad.

    Thanks,

    David

Have you tried increasing the PHP file size limit?

I've checked some forums, but I couldn't figure out how to increase PHP file size limit.
Which file I have to check?
php.ini is described but I can't find it.
Is it under the WordPress folder or in the domain's directory?
Could you describe step by step?
    Thanks!

It is under the domain's directory. You can simply add this line to it
    memory_limit = 20M
    Hope this helps.

I'm sorry. But somehow I'm missing it.
    I can't see any files "php.ini"
Do you have any other suggestions?

Ask your host to increase it if you don't have a php.ini - they will do it as it doesn't take any of their resources.

Ok. I'll contact my domain provider on Monday. See what we can do.

Well, you can just create it yourself and check if you are allowed.

Well, you can just create it yourself and check if you are allowed.

Some hosts will suspend your acct. for that.
