   Hi
   I dont't know if this is the correct place to ask this question but I am planning to put up a niche online fashion retail outlet, whilst the natural route is a normal web site can anyone comment on whether WordPress would/could be a good authorative platform for this.

   Are there any example sites I could look at and are there any proven plugins which would speed up the development of the site?

   Would ther be any security issues?
