Hi, I've just got a new webhost, and have changed the name servers to the correct ones on my domain about 12 hours ago. Webhost has 'one-click install' through Fantastico. But I still cannot get the WordPress to install.

If I leave the Directory blank, I get this message -

    Install WordPress (2/3)

The installation can not be completed:

    - You chose to install in the main directory of the domain tractorgirl.com.au, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain tractorgirl.com.au (path="/home/tractorg/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
    index.php

and if I name the directory e.g. 'wordpress' I get this message.

    Install WordPress (2/3)

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'tractorg'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /tmp/cpanel_phpengine.1309651255.96202lSzqqAjqU on line 1711
Access denied for user 'tractorg'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I am a complete noob, with not a lot of technical jargon. Please help!

    Thank you :)

The only things in folder public_html are -

folder - cgi-bin (which appears to be empty)
    and files backdrop.gif , index.php

    that's it
